H1-B Visas To Be Increased?
Microsoft chairman, Bill Gates had said in a invitation-only panel discussion to drop the H-1B visa limit.
The H-1B visa limit is to draw talented professional across the world in to the US, which was given some time earlier a limit as to the issuance of these visas as there was a complaint from the native Americans that their jobs were given out to the people from other countries.
Gates also quipped "The whole idea of the H1-B visa thing is, don't let too many smart people come into the country"
This idea may appeal to lot of software engineers who were made to come to India after the restriction to the visas and for those who were denied....
Hope the Mr. Bush has heard this already !!
