Creating Holiday Romance

Strictly for married only:
It's so easy to get caught up in the decorating, shopping, cooking, planning, and partying so that we lose sight of our mate. (Well, maybe except up on a ladder hanging lights or opening the front door with arms full of shopping bags!)

Make sure you sneak a few minutes in for your honey this month. It will make the holiday season so much more memorable.

Here are a few tips to keep romance at the top of your list:

Go shopping together. Stop mid-day for a cup of coffee or cocoa. Gaze into each other's eyes, and talk about anything BUT gifts, money, and holiday-related stress.

Take a load off. During the month of December, take a night off from the holiday madness, lie down on "the table" and get a massage for two.

Hire a babysitter. Pick a movie, theatre event, or romantic restaurant to get away from the holiday hubbub.

Read a book. Pick a chapter book and read it aloud to each other each night before you go to bed.

Kisses in the morning. Spend 2-3 minutes every morning kissing before you start your day. (This one can last through the New Year!)
